Energy Evaluator Apprenticeship Program for
Home Improvement Contractors

CHI Energy will provide apprentice candidates that have been pre-screened and have completed a six-week training program, which includes two weeks of intensive training and 4 weeks of On-the-Job training in building science.

These apprentices will all have excellent: 

• Customer Service skills
• Communications, telephone and Internet skills
• Computer database skills
• Home Energy Assessment skills
• The desire for advanced training to become an Energy Auditor
• A desire to help save the environment, increase global awareness and reduce global warming

Job Growth expected in Energy Services through 2015.

CHI also offers Home Improvement Contractors referrals and leads from qualified homeowners who need energy-saving Improvements to their home.

These leads have been prescreened to determine need for home improvements and homeowners have expressed willingness to invest in their homes to conserve energy.

CHI offers BPI Certified Contractors turnkey assistance with Home Energy Audits, CHA’s, reports, record keeping, NYSERDA required paperwork, NYSERDA required computer files.
