Crystal Alexander

Program Director

Ms. Alexander joined CHI in March 2018 as the Shelter Manager and quickly became an asset to the organization by helping fellow programs and sites with staff training, case management, and client moves. In October 2019, Ms. Alexander was promoted to Program Manager at West Main and turned a new page by implementing structures and workflows that improved the quality and consistency of client services, and significantly reduced OTDA violation findings and incident reports. Now as a Program Director for various sites on Long Island, Ms. Alexander continues her dedication to ensure each program receives the necessary resources to be effective and efficient. Ms. Alexander is currently in her 4th year of school, obtaining her Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in health and wellness.

Ms. Alexander is a strong leader and dynamic team player who lives by her personal motto, “Teamwork makes the dream work.”
