Vice President of Housing, Westchester/Hudson Valley
Ms. Anderson joined Community Housing Innovations in 2000, starting with only one program and four staff members. She is now the Vice President of Housing and oversees programs in NYC, Westchester, and Hudson Valley. She has been pivotal in Community Housing Innovations’ expansion into the Hudson Valley and the creation of supportive housing programs in Westchester. Ms. Anderson oversees the development and ongoing operation of more than 660 units of emergency housing in NYC, Westchester, Dutchess and Orange Counties, and 62 units of supportive housing.
Ms. Anderson joined Community Housing Innovations after working in NYC supportive housing programs for people with disabilities, HIV/AIDS, and seniors for 10 years. Additionally, she was active with many advocacy coalitions including SHNNY, Medicaid Managed Care, ActUP and NASW.
Ms. Anderson holds a Master of Social Work degree from Columbia University. She is a NYS-licensed Social Worker.
