Jennifer Degrijze

Program Director

Ms. Degrijze joined Community Housing Innovations in January 2018. She is a Director of Emergency Housing for Long Island, NY overseeing adult and family programs and has worked in the human services field for 20 years serving children and adolescents in foster care and psychiatric programs. She had held the position of Program Manager at CHI Moreland for 5 years before being promoted to Program Director, with additional years of leadership experience. In 2019, Ms. Degrijze was awarded CHI’s Leadership award which highlighted her strong qualities as a manager. She prides herself on her “open-door” policy and is passionate about growing staff within the agency. Ms. Degrijze holds a Master of Science from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
