Ms. Falkman joined Community Housing Innovations in February 2012. She is the VP of Housing overseeing adult and family programs in NYC, Nassau, and Suffolk. Ms. Falkman oversees the largest family facility in Suffolk County, Community Housing Innovations Moreland, which has the capacity to house up to 100 families per night. This program provides services such as recreation, childcare, educational and vocational services, as well as comprehensive case management.
Ms. Falkman holds a Master of Social Work degree from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Relations from St. Joseph’s College. She is a NYS-licensed Social Worker and has experience in Offender Treatment and Anger Management Counseling. In March 2019, she received her Certification of Excellence in Nonprofit Management through Adelphi University. Additionally, Ms. Falkman was the recipient of the Fay Honey Knopp Award in 2018 for her work and advocacy within the forensic population.
