Ms. Javon Trottman-Floyd joined Community Housing Innovations in November, 2018. She oversees CHI’s Compliance, Human Resource, Training and Operations departments and acts as an independent auditor for the agency, orchestrating internal self-evaluations of CHI’s programs and departments , including Finance and Human Resources. Prior to joining CHI, Ms. Trottman-Floyd served as Chief Compliance Officer for the Puerto Rican Family Institute where she oversaw agency-wide risk management, quality assurance, and corporate compliance initiatives. She also acted as the agency’s HIPAA and Privacy Official and decreased the agency’s liability through independent auditing, the facilitation of training, the development an internal risk management committee, and the establishment of an Internal Investigation Unit. Ms. Trottman-Floyd previously was with the Harlem United Community AIDS Center for 12 years, where she started as a Case Manager and served in several roles during her tenure, including Family Counselor, Program Coordinator, Managing Director, and ultimately, Compliance Officer.
Ms. Trottman-Floyd received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
