Planned Giving to CHI

One way to help the homeless is to remember CHI in your estate plans through planned giving to CHI. By doing so, you establish a personal legacy that impacts the lives of those in need for many years to come, and you don’t have to be wealthy to make a difference.

There are several different ways you can structure your planned gift. You should talk to your lawyer or financial advisor if you are interested in giving options that offer certain immediate financial or tax benefits.

But the simplest and most common way to include CHI in your estate is through a bequest. A bequest is simply making a gift in your will, either by designating a specific gift amount or by designating all or a defined portion of your estate after other designated distributions are made. Following is some language you can use in your will to make a bequest to CHI. Please note that these examples are merely suggestions and should be adapted by your lawyer to fit your individual situation.
